Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)
Since 2006, Reconciliation Action Plans (RAPs) have enabled organisations to sustainably and strategically take meaningful action to advance reconciliation.
Based around the core pillars of relationships, respect and opportunities, RAPs provide tangible and substantive benefits for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, increasing economic equity and supporting First Nations self-determination.
Testimonials
Something that has really warmed my heart lately is experiencing the openness of culture in Australia. We are finally starting to see & feel the unity between all people especially through schools & sport. Embracing & acknowledging that we are all Australian, no need for division & connecting with each other & learning about the different cultures that lie within our land.
A big part of this is the sense of cultural community within Yarrunga Early Learning Centre, the welcoming of something so simple as teaching & guiding our youth to brighten our cultural future. What Yarrunga stands for is much more than just caring for & nurturing our children.
They are the true meaning of people gathering to embrace the spirit of community through sharing and learning from each other, creating a safe & inclusive environment from which our children can grow to be who they are & be completely accepted & full of knowledge about who we are as Australians.
I am so proud to be a part of the wonderful community at Yarrunga & be surrounded by people who want to make a difference for our children.
